DAY 1. Arrive Tanzania
Your 9 Days Serengeti Safari begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro international airport in Tanzania. After airport formalities, you will be met outside custom area by a representative of Top Story Tours & Safaris. Enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Overnight at Machweo Lodge.
DAY 2: Arusha – Tarangire
After breakfast in your hotel in Arusha, you will depart Arusha and head west to Tarangire National Park. This fantastic park, covering an area of 2,600 sq km.It is the numerous baobab trees that will initially catch your eye. The Park derives its name from the Tarangire River that rises in the highlands of central Tanzania and winds its way through the game sanctuary. The river irresistibly lures the herds of plains migrants from the parched surrounding area to its shrunken – but permanent – brackish waters during the dry season.
Tarangire national Park has plenty of resident wildlife, and other animals come by thousands from as far north as the shores of Lake Natron, the visiting animals dramatically swelling the resident population with zebra, eland, wildebeest, elephant, hartebeest, buffalo and fringe-eared Oryx. The Park is believed to have the highest recorded number of breeding bird species for any habitat in the world. As the rainless days continue the Tarangire pools are clotted with thirsty migrants, and elephants begin to dig for underground streams in the dry riverbed.

DAY 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, you depart Tarangire National Park for Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge.Olduvai Gorge, is the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s famous discoveries of man’s ancient ancestors, the Zinjanthropus Bosei.
You have time to tour of the site and the museum. Afterwards you will continue with your journey with a stop at the shifting sand, where you will be amazed by this big pile of sand that has been moving many miles for years and years. Drive further to Naabi Hill gate where you will register before entering the famed Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an exciting game viewing en-route to your camp.

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park
Today, your safari guide will take you out of the camp early in the morning for an exciting sunrise game viewing. Early morning game drives are recommended as this is the time animals are very active grazing on the grasslands and the predators are busy hunting. You will spend the entire day game viewing and following the great migration of wildebeests. Watch and witness as a big number of predators prey on the migrating herds. Enjoy a picnic en route.

DAY 5: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in your camp, you have another opportunity to spend on action packed game drives in the park while heading to the western part of Serengeti National park with picnic lunch. In the evening drive towards your camp enjoying last minute game drives en-route . Dinner and Overnight at Lemala Mara Luxury Tented Camp.
DAY 6: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast morning game viewing in Western Serengeti. You will spend part of the day game viewing on the grasslands and the Grumeti River Valley which offers quality game viewing opportunities as it is one of most remote and secluded part of the Serengeti. Return to the lodge for hot lunch and a short break at around 12 PM. Later in the afternoon, there will be an optional evening game drive or you can simply relax and enjoy the activities that the Camp has to offer.

DAY 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area authority.
You depart your camp in the after breakfast and make your way towards Central Serengeti while enjoing game viewing on the way. Drive towards Seronera River Valley, an area famed for its rich wildlife year round. The area is set high on the saddle of tree-clad ridge commanding panoramic views over the endlessly rolling reaches and volcanic reefs of the Serengeti National Park.
Later proceed with your game viewing on your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arriving for dinner at Lemala Camp. A delightful and intimate seasonal camp that is set in an ancient acacia forest on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater adjacent to the quiet Lemala entry route. Each of the tent at Lemala Luxury camp is heated. The major advantage of staying this tented camp is the quick and easy access into the crater which maximizes game viewing and avoids the morning crater traffic.Dinner and Overnight at Lemala Ngorongoro.
DAY 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha
Wind your way through the landscape of Ngorongoro Crater floor which is about 2000 feet deep and 14 miles wide and hosts a remarkable wildlife spectacle. There is savanna, bush land, forests and lakes, inhabited by the same range of game, from Elephant to Lion to Wildebeest; there is even a soda lake for the Flamingos.
You spend the day exploring the floor of the crater, home to nearly 25,000 animals, this gives you a very real chance of encountering the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. Witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora. At lunch time take time out to stretch your legs and enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs while you enjoy watching the hippos jostle for position in the water. After lunch, you drive back to the rim of the crater where you start your journey back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Mount Meru Hotel.
DAY 9: Fly Back Home
After leisurely breakfast, you have the option of either resting at your hotel or can enjoy touring Arusha town with visits to few souvenirs shops on the way, which are beautifully decorated and stocked with high quality sculptures, fabrics, authentic artworks, antiques and textiles from Tanzania. Return to your hotel for lunch, a day room will be provided till late evening when you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to board your home bound flight.
